2019

The Beginning at Teruntum Complex

What started as a small studio space in Kuantan's Teruntum Complex has grown into something we never quite expected. Back then, it was just three of us – myself, my business partner Zara, and our first nail technician, Chen Wei. We had this vision of creating a space where people could experience professional nail care without the intimidating atmosphere of larger salons.

Our first month was honestly terrifying. We served maybe twelve clients total, and I remember calculating our expenses on the back of a napkin, wondering if we'd made a huge mistake. But those early clients became our biggest supporters – they brought their friends, shared their experiences, and helped us understand what people really wanted from a nail care service.

2022

Expanding Our Reach and Skills

By 2022, we realized something interesting was happening. Our clients weren't just coming for services – they were asking questions, wanting to learn techniques, curious about the products we used. That's when we started thinking differently about what clarivonestapho could become.

We began offering informal workshops on weekends, teaching basic nail care to anyone interested. These sessions filled up immediately. People loved learning about cuticle care, understanding different nail shapes, and discovering how to maintain healthy nails between professional visits. It became clear that education was going to be a major part of our future.

2024

Building Tomorrow's Professionals

Last year marked a turning point when we decided to formalize our educational programs. We'd seen too many people struggle to find quality nail care training, and frankly, the industry needed more skilled professionals who understood both technique and client care.

We developed comprehensive training modules covering everything from basic hygiene protocols to advanced pedicure techniques. Our first certified class graduated in November 2024 – eight students who now work at various locations across Pahang. Watching them succeed has been incredibly rewarding, though I'll admit the program development process was more challenging than we anticipated.

Looking Ahead to 2025 and Beyond

This year brings new opportunities as we continue refining our approach to nail care education and professional development

Enhanced Learning Programs

We're launching more structured courses starting September 2025, focusing on advanced techniques and business skills for aspiring nail professionals. These programs will combine hands-on practice with real-world client interaction.

Community Partnership

Building stronger connections with other beauty professionals in Malaysia, sharing knowledge, and creating opportunities for our graduates to find meaningful work in the growing wellness industry.
